Day 4

I'm smitten. The Riviera is quite possibly the coolest place I've ever been & I could so see myself living here. We went to Monaco & Monte Carlo today, and man - man oh man - it's like everything's dipped in gold. But not in a gaudy way, just in a James Bond (no joke, I know it's cliche, but wow :)), Milan style, sharp, chic, too rich for my blood sort of way. And yet, funnily enough, Hawaii felt more out of reach than this does. Maybe because the buildings are so old, & elegant, they're not overly 'bling.' But anyway, ya, I really like France. Like, a lot. :) And I'm pinching myself over the fact I've got 7 more months here. Albeit, not here, and where I'm going will undoubtedly be very different, but just getting the language down pat, feeling more at home & comfortable, spending more time getting to know the place, will make for a smooth transition, should I start to take this seriously. Michael Moore did make it look like heaven... ;-) Anyway, short one for today, I'll post pics on Facebook, & message me - I love to hear from you! :) P.S. If you ever wondered why models are pouty... it's cuz the French are pouty. ;) P.P.S. I'm getting kind of tired... so I don't know if I'll visit Cannes or St. Tropez tomorrow... or at all...
